Wiki143:Requests for checkuser/Case/Karmafist
JoanneB
- Code letter: C
All these users are suspected of being JoanneB's sockpuppets used for creating attack pages. Well, JoanneB, after all, is really the Communism vandal. --FireyFireMan 09:57, 18 October 2006 (UTC)
- redirectTemplate:A note What? JoanneB is an admin! This also seems to be a single purpose account. I'd throw this one out. MER-C 10:22, 18 October 2006 (UTC)
- Aaaah, but JoanneB is acting like Karmafist was.... you should know she is the Communism vandal... it's a little-known fact I'm making public!! --FireyFireMan 10:34, 18 October 2006 (UTC)
- Actually, I think you're a sockpuppet of Template:Checkuser. Could you checkuser this account instead? MER-C 10:46, 18 October 2006 (UTC)
- File:Symbol confirmed.svg Confirmed. That FireyFireMan is Karmafist. He's also been creating lots of socks, and tagging their user pages with false sockpuppet tags (e.g. Zephram Stark, Primetime, Bobby Boulders, Word Bomb). Jayjg (talk) 18:18, 18 October 2006 (UTC)
Two more socks to check:
- Template:Checkuser This account has a false {{SockpuppetCheckuser|WordBomb}} tag on its user page, exhibiting the same behavior as the proven socks above and editing Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Yungun, which the above socks edited. Jesse Viviano 20:51, 18 October 2006 (UTC)
- Script error: No such module "Checkuser". Suspected sock on the vote page these socks edited, Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Yungun. MER-C suspects that this is another banned user sock. I think that this could be Karmafist. Jesse Viviano 20:51, 18 October 2006 (UTC)
- File:Symbol confirmed.svg Confirmed. And Template:User-multi and Template:User-multi and Template:User-multi and several others, all now tagged. Jayjg (talk) 18:23, 19 October 2006 (UTC)

Karmafist
The user has made claims off-wiki (here) that they are using a sockpuppet (listed above) in attempt to cause major harm to Wikipedia, and advise others of how to ruin Wikipedia's credibility. Should a link be found, it could prove as evidence should the main account also be blocked for disruption. Ian¹³/t 09:21, 20 August 2006 (UTC)
Template:Respond. Karmafist was already found to be using sockpuppets; he was banned and then unbanned. This account's activity dates before said events. Mackensen (talk) 13:00, 20 August 2006 (UTC)
- Whoops. Thanks. I presumed that the lack of a Karmafist subpage meant it hadn't been checked. Ian¹³/t 19:19, 20 August 2006 (UTC)
- The check was discussed on the administrator's noticeboard. Thatcher131 (talk) 00:32, 21 August 2006 (UTC)
