I have been making minor contributions to Wikipedia for a while, firstly as an anon and then I eventually I registered. Recently I have become much more active doing a lot of maintenance tasks. I wish I could contribute more to my areas of interest, but most of the time Wikipedia already has more information on them than I know myself - so I end up doing minor edits. I do a lot of RC patrol (it probably spams up my contributions). I am not looking to become an admin right now as I anticipate that soon I will not have much time for Wikipedia, but possibly later I'll give it a go.

1. Of your contributions to Wikipedia, are there any about which you are particularly pleased, and why?

   I'm going to cheat a little in my answer and say that I'm most proud of my contributions to Wikijunior (at Wikibooks). I have written probably as much as half of the material for Wikijunior Dinosaurs. I was quite interested in dinosaurs as a kid and there I had a lot of fun going down memory lane. I did some research and spent a lot of time looking for images - at that time Wikipedia and Wikicommons did not have many dino images (I think the situation might be better now), so the image part took me quite a while. I sent out quite a lot of requests to artists for permission, and managed to get permission from two of them.

2. Have you been in any conflicts over editing in the past or do you feel other users have caused you stress? How have you dealt with it and how will you deal with it in the future?

   Actually nothing major. A couple of petty disputes but nothing has really caused me stress. I do my best to keep cool and not to jump to personal attacks. The only thing on Wikipedia that really did cause me stress was an inconsiderate friend of mine in "revenge" putting up my personal info in attack articles on me, and that at the same time while I was stressing out in real life trying to meet a tight deadline. I dealt with that just like with any extreme vandalism - reported it to WP:AIV and a friendly admin got it all sorted for me.
