Template:Short description Script error: No such module "Infobox".Template:Template otherTemplate:Main otherScript error: No such module "Check for unknown parameters".The transverse acetabular ligament (transverse ligament[1] or Tunstall's ligamentScript error: No such module "Unsubst".) bridges the acetabular notch, creating the a foramen (through which blood vessels and nerves pass into the joint cavity).[2] The ligament is one of the sites of attachment of the ligament of head of femur.[1][3]Template:Rp

Some sources consider the transverse acetabular ligament as the part of the acetabular labrum over the acetabular notch,[1][4][3]Template:Rp while another states that the labrum attaches onto the ligament.[2]
