False Prophet

False Prophet (talkcontribs) I have not been here for as long as some have, but I have not been involved in a dispute and am very talented at rewording things as to improve the writing, weather it be gramatical or to change to connotation, POV, or combining texts. I believe that I could help Wikipedia as a Mediator.False Prophet 02:35, 3 July 2006 (UTC)

Mediation committee:

  • Oppose. Looking over the users contributions, it seems he needs a bit more time to learn about Wikipedia and how things are done. Try again in a few months if you're still interested. Essjay (TalkConnect) 08:36, 4 July 2006 (UTC)

Outside opinions:

  • Oppose. Dr. Zak's evidence is extremely convincing. Werdna (talk) 06:32, 4 July 2006 (UTC)
  • Oppose Editor self-identifies he/she has never been involved in a dispute here, which doesn't give me much to judge his mediation skills against. The messages on Dr. Zak's talk page inclines me to oppose at this time until the editor demonstrates more of a willingness to discuss before threatening other editors with sanctions.--Isotope23 11:40, 4 July 2006 (UTC)

Comments:

  • Nothing personal, but the message on my talk page regarding my recent AfD nominations shows very poor judgement. A conflict emerges because both parties believe they are right, and a good mediator would ferret out the parties motives' to name the conflict as a first step in dispute resolution.
