Original research. The only informative reference, the link to http://www.florencetime.net/, affirmes that it is an invention of that site's author. Note that Ancient Roman units of measurement/Hexadecimal metric system itself doesn't exist, but only Talk:Ancient Roman units of measurement/Hexadecimal metric system.
