I love how it was automatically determined that this was sockpuppetry. There was obviously a community to which users like JIP were too busy to label rather then acknowledge. There were no duplicate users joining in on the debate, or rather even on the original article. So please do explain, how is this sockpuppetry? As per the Wikipedia definition of Internet Sock Puppet, "A sock puppet describes an additional account created by an existing member of an Internet community, sometimes to manufacture the illusion of support in a vote or argument.", I don't and can't see how the two are the same.
