Is Ahilawati another name for Maurvi? I've placed Maurvi as the wife of Ghatotkacha and the mother of Barbarika. Imc 16:04, 24 September 2005 (UTC)Reply

Maurvi was the name of Ahilawati before marriage as she was nag kanya. Later she was recognised as Ahilawati. To know more about concern Khatushyamji.

Clarification

I'm just leaving this out here for the future reference of readers and editors: Ahilawati is not a character who is featured in the original Mahabharata as this article previously suggested; she, along with her son Barbarika, appear in western Indian folklore, and they were likely assimilated in retellings of the epic in the region and identified with Ghatotkacha, who is a bona fide Mahabharata character.
