Why east-to-west numbering?
SouthEastRoads confirms what I thought looking at the exit list: the highway is signed east-west, but the exit numbers are numbered "backwards", east to west. Has anybody got a quick reference for why the numbering is this way? Was it planned to be north/south, but the directions were changed? —C.Fred (talk) 05:48, 27 November 2006 (UTC)
Abercorn street
I'm from Savannah, and I don't understand why the listed originating/termination point for Lynes Parkway/516 is listed as Abercorn. The 516 designation ends once the road enters Savannah proper. 516 ends at the stoplight at Montgomery St. The road then takes the designation Derene Ave. Derene passes through another major intersection (Waters Ave) before it reaches the Abercorn intersection. Exit list
The exit list is inaccurate. The East End is where mile 0 is at. Not the West End NintendoTTTEfan2005 (talk) 00:15, 22 October 2023 (UTC)

- Never mind, the mile markers I saw on Google streetview on I-516 are those that correspond to SR 21 mileage, not I-516. So the Mile numbers are fine. NintendoTTTEfan2005 (talk) 00:40, 12 November 2023 (UTC)
