Loveland

Loveland is on the Little Miami River, which is as far as I know unsuitable for canal boats. Originally, this article ambiguously said "Miami River" instead. – Minh Nguyễn (talk, contribs) 05:48, 23 May 2007 (UTC)Reply

Canal uses other than Transportation

Why is no mention of the canal's use as a water source for power to mills and factories? In many cases this continued long after transportation on the canal had ended. This was critical in many towns like Rochester and also provided power to pump water in city water systems. It seems odd that this is ignored.Corumplex (talk) 23:52, 22 September 2021 (UTC)Reply
