Request for comments

I just put a couple of uncategorised pages into Category:Web technology containing Category:Web services and Category:Web applications, and wondered how it might fit-in with this page. At first glance it would be a subcategory, although web services/applications are often intranet-related (which means that even Category:Internet is technically wrong). Any comments? Enthusiasm is to be admired, but the Web is only the Web

1st sentence of WWW: The World Wide Web (abbreviated as WWW or W3, commonly known as the web) is a system of interlinked hypertext documents accessed via the Internet.

The Web is an application of computing, the Web is NOT Computing. The Web is accessed via the Internet, the Web is NOT part of the Internet communication network.

The categories Category:Computing and Category:Internet have been deleted.99.65.176.161 (talk) 05:26, 18 April 2014 (UTC)Reply
