Talk:Lerch transcendant

This link is a misspelling of Lerch transcendent, see User talk:Linas#Lerch transcendant or Lerch transcendent. Having a misspelled link will lead to missspelled articles containing this link. I request that the link be deleted. Oleg Alexandrov 16:23, 14 July 2005 (UTC)
- Redirects are an important tool for getting users who are spelling-impaired to the page they want to locate. This is a classic example. Not speediable. Denni☯ 03:12, 2005 July 15 (UTC)
- I would argue though that you cannot make a redirect for each mis-spelling in existance. Also, if you make a mis-spelled link, and the link does not exist (redlink) it tells you that something is wrong. If the mis-spelled link is blue, the editor might think nothing is wrong. But either way, I agree with you that it is not a speedy. I will not bother to put this to the Wikipedia:Redirects for deletion. Oleg Alexandrov 03:24, 15 July 2005 (UTC)
