Jason Snell is an independent writer and podcaster who was previously the lead editor at Macworld for more than a decade. His column appears weekly on that website. He graduated from the University of California, San Diego in 1992 with a degree in Communication. In 1994 he received a master's degree from the Graduate School of Journalism at the University of California, Berkeley. He currently lives in Mill Valley, California with his wife and two children.
