I'm a student at University of Oregon. Junior status. History, Chinese, Asian Studies majors, Political Science minor. Hoping to become a professional student at University of London's School of Oriental and Asian Studies eventually (when I can get the money), and recieve a degree in Sinology. Also, hoping to go to China in 2008. I do a lot of things, I'm in the Jewish fraternity Alpha Epsilon Pi as a Reform Jew (I also prescribe to a lot of theological ideas, but one could label me as a Deist, a Strong Agnostic, and above all, an amalgam of Zhuangzi-styled Daoist, Mencius-styled Confucian, and Chan Buddhist. I love fine beers and whiskey. I speak Spanish pretty decently (as per a 2nd year college speaker), and have just begun learning Mandarin (paticularly, the traditional script along with the simplified). I know bits and pieces of Japanese, Vietnamese, and can read Hebrew (but cannot understand it for the most part).

Things in Eugene are generally chill, so it's a rather nice spot to visit when it is warmer and not raining all the damn time.
