- There's been some talk on the Decorative Art and study of Decorative Art discussion pages about this article, and its lack of article-ness. I personally thinks it's most valuable as a referal list that can point one towards content that appears elsewhere -- why be repetitive? also, I based the format/content of this page on the history of painting page (as mentioned above), so it's not without precedent. I think more links should be added, but I still think the format to be a sound idea. -Astragal 17:02, 7 August 2006 (UTC)
