"Shulgin accounts his experiences after ingesting 2C-N" The reports in Pihkal are not neccesarilly Shulgin's own experiences. Some of them may be, I'm honestly not sure, but I'm pretty sure Shulgin has stated that they are accounts from friends or colleagues of his who helped try out new substances.
