Inez Sainz redirect

Why does "Inez Sainz" redirect here, when I can find no mention of her in the article?

And keep in mind, people, that discussion pages are about the ARTICLES and how to improve them. Wiki is not a messageboard for discussing the topics of the articles. See above for perfect examples of what discussion pages are not for. 64.222.94.132 (talk) 13:18, 15 September 2010 (UTC)Reply

Rewrite

I kinda fixed the article, I'll be working on it for the next couple of days. Today, I rewrote the opening paragraph, removed unefon section (which was owned by Grupo Salinas and not TV Azteca, shortened controversies section and added main articles to subsections (which made up about 75% of the article) and removed unreferenced material dating back to 2008. If anyone wants to help and has references you are more welcomed to. Stucture

  • Grupo Salinas (owner)
    • TV Azteca (media conglomerate)
      • operator of Azteca 7 and Azteca Trece (national broadcast television networks) / XHTVM-TV TV station in Mexico City - Proyecto 40 cable TV network. Everything else is owned by Grupo Salinas

Azteca (multimedia conglomerate)Template:No redirect – After some years of calling itself just Azteca, the company actually restored TV to its name and changed out signage at its studios and offices. (For instance: 2014 vs. 2016; 2015 vs. 2016) I have taken control of this RM as it was done by an IP editor who is evading blocks, but it actually is not a bad idea. • Template:Ping The US subsidiary of the company is going by Azteca América again; I am going to RM that article. (It is also treated as somewhat separate from TVA: an English-language press release description reads "These companies include: TV Azteca ... Azteca America ... Grupo Elektra [etc.]") Sources in Spanish consistently call the Mexican operation TV Azteca, and recent headlines from Variety like "TV Azteca Struggles to Keep Up With Mexico's Changing Media Landscape" and mentions of Azteca América as an arm of TV Azteca definitely indicate the TV is back in the name.
On another note, the socking has been seriously disruptive, though sometimes this really wild editor has a point (his retarget suggestion showed the need for an article at Azteca Deportes, for instance). He actually once impersonated me (and other users) by signing comments and then editing the names. See User talk:Atorres50. Raymie (tc) 06:18, 18 March 2017 (UTC)Reply
  • Template:Ping This is a definite SPI of our favorite impersonator Atorres50. That said, this is actually not a bad idea of a move. After some years of calling itself just Azteca, the company actually restored TV to its name and changed out signage at its studios and offices. I've struck all the edits from IPs. There's a sock problem here. I support this move, but not from this guy. Raymie (tc) 16:29, 16 March 2017 (UTC)Reply

Template:Hat Name of TV Azteca was restored since July 2015
