fingernail

"quick, the tender parts of the flesh under hard skin or particularly under the nail." Does anyone know the anatomical term so it can be properly linked? - IstvanWolf 05:50, 18 April 2006 (UTC)Reply

Cleanup

This disambiguation page was marked for cleanup per MoS:DAB. I removed the following non-dab-worthy entries, mainly for MoS:DAB#Examples of individual entries that should not be created:

  • Quicksand is a hydrocolloid gel consisting of fine granular matter (such as sand or silt), clay, and salt water.
  • Quicksilver is a common name for the chemical element mercury, literally meaning "living silver" based on its appearance and its unusual liquidity at room temperature.
  • Kwik cricket, a high-speed version of the game, aimed mainly at encouraging youngsters to take part.
  • The Quickshot sighting scope is an accessory to the Nintendo Entertainment System (N.E.S) Zapper.
  • Quickdraws are used by rock climbers to attach rope to bolt anchors or chocks. They allow the rope to run through freely.
  • the whole etymology section (see [1]) because it had already been transwikied to wikt:quick (WP:NOT#DICTIONARY)
