Merge with opponent process

Is there any real reason to have a page each for the singular and plural versions of this subject? It seems that these would be good merge candidates. slambo 21:21, Feb 8, 2005 (UTC)

User:Kcordina merged and redirected in April 2006, but was reverted by bot. I think she merged in the wrong direction anyway, as opponent process was where all the content history is. I'm redirecting this article to there, but placing the only paragraph that originated here, into the talk page, as it makes no sense to me, and includes an irrelevant tangent on homeostasis as related to drug use. --Quiddity 20:52, 25 August 2006 (UTC)
