Plant a Tree

Could we get a section on their effort/annual programs to plant trees in state parks? 168.179.217.57 (talk) 14:40, 26 May 2010 (UTC)Reply

Origin of the Name Odwalla

The information on "Illustrum" in the Origin section is incorrect. On the liner notes to the Art Ensemble of Chicago's "Fanfare for the Warriors," the recording that "Illustrum" appears in, the music for the piece is attributed to Malachi Favors and the myth/poem to Joseph Jarman. Roscoe Mitchell did later write a piece called "Odwalla," which appears on the Art Ensemble's recording "Bap-tizum." But it was Jarman who created the myth/poem for "Illustrum" and gave the character the name Odwalla. 162.90.144.23 (talk) 10:27, 29 May 2012 (UTC)Jeffrey SchanzerReply

Intro

The intro to this article seriously needs work. Its paragraphs are uneven, the information is poorly organized, and some of it's redundant. Tezero (talk) 02:59, 7 June 2014 (UTC)Reply

FA in need of review

This Featured Article was promoted in 2008 and has never been reviewed since. The main editor has left Wikipedia in 2009, which has left the article permanently stuck in 2007/2008.

The brand was recently discontinued and this is how the History section ends:

"Coca-Cola promoted Odwalla products in 2006 when the company aimed at removing carbonated soda products in schools.[37] Odwalla continued to have good growth in 2007, when Coca-Cola, squeezed by poor growth in its North American markets, issued a company-wide hiring freeze; Odwalla, because of its good performance, was one of the few exceptions to the rule.[38]
In July 2020, Coca-Cola announced the permanent discontinuation of all Odwalla products, having declared Odwalla one of its "zombie brands" (brands which comprise less than 2% of total revenue)."

There is a 13-year gap there that is not befitting of a Featured Article.

I also found the following scholarly works, that cover a E. coli outbreak and how the company reacted to it, that ought to be included in the article:

Since the article has not been updated, coupled with the failure to integrate recent scholarly works that offer a retrospective look on the response to the 1996 E. coli outbreak, means that this article fails criteria 1. b) of Featured Articles, comprehensiveness. If the above issues are not corrected, the article may be nominated for Featured Article review. RetiredDuke (talk) 17:58, 12 November 2020 (UTC)Reply

I agree with RetiredDuke about the additional use of sources that might be useful for the 1996 E. Coli outbreak section. I also think the sources should be reevaluated, with fool.com removed as it is an unreliable source. I would also like to see information about the company between 2006 and 2020. I agree as well. I don't think this is featured-article quality.

Possible image?

The French article includes this image in the infobox, is it possible that this article can also include it? There is some copyright stuff that might not allow this though... Thanks - RandomEditorAAA (talk) 16:53, 9 October 2021 (UTC)Reply
