Cultural understanding of Restoration

I just noticed that their seems to be a cultural different understanding of the term restoration. As the german and swiss understanding seems to point mainly to the period between 1814 and 1843 (1848). I haven't found in any other source which refers to the time mentioned in the article "after 1948" as restoration. I hope I will have some spare time to clarify this and to update the page.
